Hi,
My name is Randy Dalton. I started playing guitar at the
age of 11. My mother showed me my first chords and from
there I developed my own style of flat top picking on the
guitar. I also went on to learn how to play Bass, Banjo
and Mandolin. My two brothers Bobby and Jeff also played
instruments so most of my youth was spent with them,
playing at Churches, and festivals. Over the past 25
years, I have enjoyed playing with several groups such
as, The Bluegrass Meditations, touring most of the Bill
Monroe Festivals. The Bluegrass Thoroughbreds touring
more than 40 states, and a three year stay with Renfro
Valley Entertainment. Since reforming The Daltons, in
1994, I feel I am right where the Lord wants me to be. I
look foreword to spending what time I have on earth
singing his praises and hope that through the grace of
God, I'll be singing when the Lord comes back. My earnest
prayer is that through our Ministry, I will see the lost
come to know Christ. I hope to see you at a concert or
Church sometime in the near future. Until then I send you
my love, prayers, and best wishes through my Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.
